Hi everyone..Ok on my previous message from here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-68359-1.htm I had asked what you thought...I went back to my design in EQ and combined some of the suggestions and this is what I came up with...I really like the first one...what do you think...I could leave out the Love You as Forever speaks volumes on it's own....Oh by the way THANKS SOOOOOOO MUCH

better. Love the first one. just say, forever you, when you gift the quilt. Most guys I know hate this mooshy stuff.

I don't know who you are giving it too, so please forgive my ignorant statement ;-)

I really like your first one, my preference is no lettering on the first one the lettering is there but over power the rest of the quilt.

I like the first on but I had to look at it a second time after reading one of the responses. I totally didn't even see the forever love you. It blends too much. need a darker color. And I agree I like just forever. :)

I like the idea that others gave about just saying 'forever'. With the heart 'love you' is redundent.

Either quilt is pretty. I don't know how true the colors are in the pictures, but if you do #1 you will need to make the letters just a little darker, as looked washed out in the picture.

This quilt will be really nice when you finish it.

I love both of them, and I think Forever is plenty to say. My question is how you plan to make the letters in your quilt. That part looks prety tricky to me.LOL

Ok, with all your wonderful suggestions, here is what I have come up with...I'm taking out the Love You as Forever speaks for itself. Changed the color of Forever, but I can change my mind. what I will do is make the top first, lay fabric options on the top, to see which color will look better for the lettering, but not over power the wall hanging.
Someone asked how I was going to put the lettering onto the wallhanging, I will be appliquing them on..using steam-a-seamII which will allow me to place and replace them until I like the layout then iron them down and zigzag around them... The colors are almost exact to the fabric I'm using. Also this is being made to for my Fiance'. Thanks for everyone taking the time to look and suggest....Quilty Hugs to all :-)

I love #1. Just the word "forever". Great idea.

I also like that the letters are quite pale - I'd expect in the finished quilt you will see the heart design first and then when you stop for a closer look you discover the word.
