Default Changed my borders and so much happier with my quilt!!

I got my borders changed!! I posted earlier about what border should I go with (and responses were split on the two choices I posted, so I felt either way, I couldn't go wrong!). I felt drawn to the lighter blue border on the outside with the narrow dark blue inner border. I also trimmed the innermost cream border so that it was proportional.

I hated this quilt prior (see picture of the brown border I started with, it was all wrong for a variety of reasons for this quilt). However, now I am very happy with it! So glad I took the time to change them out. :-)

Oh my, I can hardly believe what a difference it made. It's perfect now! I like how you used a dark blue and then the lighter color to frame the quilt.

Very good decision. The blue really brightens the quilt. Pretty quilt!

Great choice! I like a dark first border. It frames the quilt.

Yes, your final selection on borders. I love borders on most quilts anyway and I feel they can make or break the quilt. Good job.

You certainly made the right decision. The difference is quite amazing between the brown and blue borders. I am glad you are pleased. It's a lovely quilt.

Beautiful. What a difference. The floral border did not send me at all but this one is perfect.
