I admire your 'stick to it attitude'. It is truly amazing what the blue did for your quilt. It really pulled it together and is quite lovely. I like the dark inner border. You are right, the brown just wasn't effective. Very pretty now and I am glad that you like your quilt.

My what a difference a border can make. This has turned into a beautiful, almost sophisticated quilt. So glad you took the time to "unsew" that original border. Just lovely and my kind of colors. You did good!!!

You will always get mixed opinions on this board because we all have various different opinions. I think the quilt turn out terrific as long as you are pleased with the choice you made.

The blue borders are a great choice! So much better than the brown...imho.

I like the blue border much better! I'm not a big blue and brown fan but I like it in this quilt. Good work!
