Hey that's why my first ones looked like. Now do some cheap binding on it and donate it to the humane society!!! I donated five that looked like that! LOL

When I practiced (and I still need to do a lot of it) I used my serger to finish the edges and my daughter used it for her dogs crate....was one dollar a yard material (really ugly) and muslin on the back....she is hoping I practice a lot more.
Enjoy yourself, I think its looking good!

look way better than my first attempt! lol
I was taking my practise pieces off of the machine and just putting them under it and my black cat has decided that they make a very nice bed! lol he got quite cross when I tidied up and went to throe them out so now I make sure there is always a couple there as he really appreciates my attempts! lol
