It is a treasure. Can you imagine someone sitting there making it only to have it sold at a garage sale for $4.00.

At least it went to someone who understands it true value!

Congratulations, on your find. I know you'll use it as it was meant to be!

wow,,,, thats a wonderful one!!! Hard to beleive they sold it for that little ,,, you can not even buy the thread for that cheap...

I just fall out of my chair when I read stories like this. Why in the world families sell off heirlooms like this for pennies is beyond me. Glad you (who will appreciate it) were there to give it a loving home.

I just had a thought....maybe the grandmother was really, really MEAN :twisted: and this was their way of settling the score. :shock: :lol:

That's ok Eddie, if they settled the score...it gave me a wonderful opportunity to own something special. I will treasure her quilt, no matter how mean and ugly she could have been LOL.
