As a teacher, I always check to see if my students understand new concepts. So, I decided to apply the same principal to myself and see if I really did "get it" from the paper piecing course I just took. I think so :) :) :)

Here's what I spent a couple hours on. Everything was perfect until I tried turning it into a bookmark by sewing on the back and turning it inside out. But, my goal was to test out the PP and that part's just fine.
HOORAY! Was this ever fun! I feel like a whole new world of quilting has just opened up to me.

This is simply beautiful!! Can I ask, what type of paper are you using? I'm having a heck of a time with the papers I bought.. they do not want to come off!.. When you give a slight tug, they just sit there laughing at me!

Tuesy...I use regular copy paper for mine which is supposed to be the worst. I learned a little tip though that helps. When I first print the patterns...fold the paper a couple of times each direction on each sewing line. Then make sure you shorten your stitch length. When you go to tear it off....fold it again, then pull gently so you don't rip your stitches.

Now....that bookmark is awesome! What do you think is wrong with it, cause I don't see a thing!
