Default Chemo Quilt

Three weeks before her high school graduation, my great niece was diagnosed with brain cancer. My cousin and I made her a quilt in her favorite blue and purple embroidered with her beloved pigs..lol. She is still undergoing chemo but her last scans have been good and we are all hopeful. She loved the quilt...

Very nice quilt. I like those colors together, too.

Am I seeing a pocket at the top? That is a neat idea, if so.

Yes at the top there is a flannel lined hand warmer and a small pocket for chap stick and hard candy.

That is a wonderful quilt, and I love the thoughtfulness of the added features. Wishing her well ….
