Default Cherry Blossoms...Spring is coming

My DH and I live in a fairly large house, just the 2 of us and we do not use most of the rooms unless we have company (a few times a year). We close off most of our rooms and use window air conditioners in areas we do use. One of the guest bedrooms has full SW exposure and gets very warm. I put a sheet of insulation Styrofoam over the window and then made a landscape quilt to cover it. There is a slash where the window air is so that the quilt can be lifted up to allow the air conditioner to run

Not only is this a great idea, but your detailed quilting is just lovely.

Wow you are one talented lady. What a clever idea to come up with in the first place and to design the scene, paint (color) your material), do everything you did to this material, you turn around and quilt it too. What a talented person. I love it. My hats off to you.
