You should be very proud of your accomplishments of getting both lovely quilts done in time for Christmas! Congrats!

You said you worked on these quilts as a monthly project in you local quilt guild. Did each member bring their own projects to work on or did you work on the same projects? Our guild has a Sew day the first Saturday of each month and I think it would be fun to work together on the same project. thanks for sharing.

We had a schedule for what row or block to make each month of these patterns, and we each did our own quilt and would just bring our row or block that we made that month for show and tell. So we could each see how the other's looked. Then in Nov, and Dec, we finished them and brought them for show an tell. Such fun.
