Love your work, how hard was the tree skirt to make? Looks complicated and time consuming. Was there a pattern? could you PM me?

the tree skirt is from the book- FRENCH BRAID OBSESSION by Jane Hardy Miller-
french braids are not difficult- only look like it. the tree skirt was a little more challenging than some mainly because the one in the book uses starting triangles- i chose to use whole squares to make it larger because that's what my daughter wanted- so the binding was a bit more challenging- but it was fun to make- the top only took a saturday of enjoyable sewing- i used spray basting to sandwich it- quilted in the ditch along 3 (every other) star line so the green back has the star outlines on it- then binded it with the same red as the contrasting squares.
