Default Christmas Gifts!

I am finally getting around to posting my Christmas gifts that I made for my parents. I am new at this so I hope I did it correctly! For my dad I did a Coin quilt. I knew I had to make it long because he is tall, but it ended up being quite long and tall! It covers the whole top of his queen bed. I chose bright colored batiks against a black background. For my mother I wanted to do something special in her favorite colors. I found this pattern and fell in love! I call it Twisted Stars. I am proud to say that I made this top completely by myself (my first!). My mom had to help me finish my dad's the day we celebrated our Christmas! Talk about a rushed job! I included pics of the whole quilt and a close-up to see the fabrics and pattern. I hope you like them as much as I did!

Oops! Sorry the pics are big! That's how they are on my computer, I had no idea they would be so big!
