Was it labeled? .... any idea of its origin?

Unfortunately we quilters keep quilting ... the stack gets higher ....

We outlive our circle of friends and/or remove ourselves from the immediate vicinity of our children .... upon our demise no one knows the effort put into or the significance of our work ...

Those who clear out our "stuff" are harried enough, sad enough, or whatever - Our "stuff" is overwhelming to take care of ...

Unless we make provisions, ours, too, will end up in that great flea market in no where .....

Unfortunately, when families are fractured the ones who really care are sometimes obstructed by "those cousins in charge" who make the final disposition of goods .....

Am I cynical, or what? - well, probably just a bit realistic after having watched such procedures....

Glad YOU were at least able to rescue this one beauty ... good work ...

It always makes me wonder...who would just give away something that someone put their heart into, not too mention their time and skill? I cannot conceive of someone doing that. Glad you came along to give it the love and consideration due it.
