The name of the pattern is Christmas Log Runner. It is in the book Holly Jolly Christmas Quilting by Jeanne Stauffer & Sandra L. Hatch. There are a bunch in this book that I want to make. I got it at the Library and liked it so much that I bought it on E-bay. Here is a link if you are interested- http://catalog.ebay.com/Holly-Jolly-...=p3286.c0.m504

Thank you all for your compliments! I will make one for each of you that come to visit me. How's that? If you all want to come, we could have our own bonco (bunko) party. What fun that would be. I am not sure which is my favorite part about bonco. the game with funny ladies, the food, or the prizes. I don't think I could pick! It is once a month and I sure look forward to it. It has been extra fun the last three months watching the ladies fight over my table runners. LOL It was almost a wrestling match in November. :)

Hey,

I live fairly close to you. I am in Layton, so I could just come visit and you could make me one. Just teasing. I can imagine the ladies fighting over these. I am working on some Christmas gifts now, and thing I might try to make a few runners. Some for my daughter who is married, and some for my other daughter for her hope chest.

You did a great job

well, I just checked my library website and we don't have it. Guess when I go to work on Monday, I will request an interlibrary loan and see if I can get it. Even if I don't get everything done before Christmas, that will be okay/
