    Default A little more on the topic of painting quilts....

    Here is a picture of a placemat that I quilted first, and then painted. I used two different colors of paint, and as you can see, it doesn't leak through to the back.

    What brand of paint do you use? I assume the gold is the paint? It looks like fabric. Wonderful job.

    Yes, how did you do it? It doesn't look painted. I guess "how did you do it" is rather redundant but I would like more info please.

    What fun!! I used to do a lot of oil painting, but never thought too much about fabric painting. Must look into this. I, too, would love it if you did a tutorial on this..what kind of paint, preparation, etc. Thanks for the post.
