YES!!! Extremely good with kids!!! High energy dogs for the most part, but VERY loyal, loving, are happiest when they are with people. A great choice if you want a dog to raise with kids!!

Yes and no to a kit. The quilt shop I love going to had some of them bagged up, but I changed some of the material. You could easily do it without a kit!!
