Default Clematis and Columbine Flowers

I thought these two flowers were made for each other as I love green and purple together. They are flowers from my own garden and that is always fun to work from my own pictures. I plan on using this piece for a medallion in the center with borders of vines and a large clematis blossom in the corners. I probably won't get that much done but I have big plans anyway. It measures 24 x 36 inches so would be a nice size for a medallion.

Absolutely gorgeous! The colors are stunning and I can hardly wait to see the entire pieced finished. It is already a work of art.

Wow, reading your post, I thought top picture would be the shot of your garden, then the medallion you made - scrolled down and realized that the top picture was the only one, and it is the medallion - it will be a phenomenal center however you decide to finish it - you have such a special talent, I am in awe of it and you!

Gorgeous, gorgeous block, I can't wait to see what you do with it! Those flowers look so real, were the clematis petals enhanced with paint or did you have a fabric that you fussy cut?

Amazing! I hope someday to be able to produce something as lovely. I also thought this was a picture at first. Great work! Would love to see more pictures as you progress towards your end goal. The description you give of your planned end product is wonderful. Can't wait to see it!
