Default Comfort Quilt--done in columns (scrappy)

This one will go on my shelf for when I need a gift to provide comfort--death, illness, etc. I like to have a couple of these on hands.
I think I saw this type quilt top on a Missouri Star Quilt Co video.
I am caught up now. Have one more top to quilt to a fleece backing, then I can start some new projects with a clear conscience!

Cute. Good for you on being caught up. I am still working on UFO's. My goal is to do one a month, but I start new things every month too. I can't help myself.

Very pretty quilt and I'm sure someone will truly appreciate the time and effort you put in to making this quilt to give to them.

I like the way you put the scrappy blocks with the solid fabric blocks. It looks great in a strippy. I haven't seen that done before.

I'd never seen it done that way either & I really like it. It give your eyes a place to rest & that's quite soothing. This quilt will certainly bring comfort & joy to someone. You are so sweet to think ahead like that. And then to make something so nice for that purpose!
