I love the idea of a "comfort quilt". God knows they do give comfort--both to the giver and the receiver!

Me, either! Love it! I've made a lot of scrappies, but never thought of putting a solid fabric in like this. WOW! Nifty work and so smart to get things done ahead. Hmmm....if only I could get one UFO done....LOL! Thanks for sharing!

I like the way you used the scrappy blocks with solid blocks too! Nice way to use up left overs, which I have tons of. This would be great for quick baby quilts! I am always needing those for customers to use as gifts! Thank you for sharing, it is beautiful!

That is a nice thing to do, I have 3 scrap quilts about the same size as yousr and I do the same as you are doing. I save them for gifts of comfort and love.
