I get the boards at JoAnns when they empty them. Cut to length and they're free. They are usually happy to get rid of them.

The description said the boards are "Buffered with 3% calcium carbonate" I don't now what that is or how it reacts with fabric...over time. Anyone have any ideas?

I got sheets of foamcore from Dollar Tree and did the same thing. Sure helps in seeing what I have.

I also use the comic book boards and they work and look wonderful. Much cheaper than the plastic too
