Default Cotton Cuts Mystery Quilt

A dear quilting friend talked me into signing up for this mystery or as the Cotton Cuts team call it, a puzzle mystery. Every month for 10 months you are sent pre-cut pieces (in your color way) and directions on how they are to be put together. At the end of the 10 months you are then sent border fabric and binding fabric, as well as the directions on how to put all the previous months together. This is my finished Puzzle Mystery. In fact, I liked it so much that I have signed up for their fall mystery. The size of the quilt is 72 X 72. I love it and so does my daughter, who claimed it for herself.

I have subscribed to their mystery quilts several times. I love how I can start sewing immediately, no cutting. . You can choose the fabric colorway too.

Onebyone, the fact that I didn’t have to cut out the pieces, was a big selling point for me. It’s the perfect “mindless sewing” project. I have just started their fall mystery. Thanks for the link, I love making scrappy quilts.

Beautiful finish on that quilt! Thank you for sharing. I had never heard of this particular mystery quilt. I may have to try it just to knock out a flimsy quicker than normal.
