You've given me a great idea for a christmas gift for my 9 sister in laws. Your bags are very pretty and practical and I would imagine not too expensive to make. Thanks. Did you buy a pattern or not bother with one.

The very widest bottom of the bag is 18.5" across - across the top part of bag below the handles is 15.5" (this is the taper from the bottom of bag to top) now vertically from the bottom of the bag to just underneath the handles is 10" high with the handles included it is 18.5" high. It's really a nice size and I like the look of the bag - its like a hobo style purse.

Thanks so much for saying nice things about our "Market Tote" pattern. It IS easy, quick and I love the way the handles support the weight of what is in it.
