Neat finds. I'm sure you will appreciate them.

Can't believe someone gave them up.

Sure hope the quiltmaker isn't on this board. Gosh, wouldn't that be awful!

Awesome finds!

Whenever I am at a thrift store I always check to see if they have quilts and have "rescued" a few. I wish they would be labeled so I could find out more about them. They definatly add variety to my home as they are usually a different pattern or colors than I tend to do.

Love finding Books there too, usually about $5 in this area last week I found two Thimbleberry books :):)

Makes you wonder why they ended up at Goodwill. Are they gifts someone didn't want? Was the person who made them not happy with their work? Great find. I love Goodwill. I buy all of my clothes there. When someone admires something I'm wearing, I love saying, "Goodwill!"

Oh what wonderful finds! I love the kitty one. Printed the picture off so I could try to find the fabric since I collect kitty fabrics. Hopefully they were both loved at some point in time and are definately loved now.

Lucky you! They are very nice. I feel a little sad - after knowing what gets put into making one of these - it is sad that someone would just "give" it away :(

Nice find. Never find anything like that in my part of the state. If they did have any, they would cost alot more.

Well, I have a trunk full of christmas stuff and clothing I"ve been carting around for wks to go to Goodwill. This time I will go in the store to check it out. I have heard that people donate things that can be very valuable and antique dealers shop there.
