Nan C, the first one I didn't use a pattern, just kinda made it up as I went along. The second one is my now favorite bag pattern (since I've made so many of them LOL) from Connecting Threads. I just enlarged it.

The pink tote is high loft batting that I ironed with high steam to compact it. The animal print and black bag has low loft batting that I quilted the outside with, and the lining has medium weight pellon ironed onto it.
