Default Laundry Day............a wall-hanging

I found this tutorial a while back and decided to make it.
http://damselquiltsandcrafts.blogspo...othesline.html

It was fun to make and my first try at raw edge applique. I cut the corner off a small wicker basket to make the laundry basket. She made hers out of fabric. I even made a small clothespin bag to hang on the line.
The aprons are made from scraps and bits of bias trim. The background fabric is all from my stash.

Enjoy!!!!

How cute is that!!!! I love your creativity in using the basket corner! Who would ever have thought of doing that???Great job. I would love to have that in my laundry room. It would make the whole job of doing the laundry so much more pleasant to be able to look up and see this whimsical wall hanging!

Very, very cute. You could just let your imagination whirl with this. Maybe a quilt airing on the line would be fun.

Your quilt is super. Very clever to use real wicker for the basket. I also love the idea of a quilt hanging on the line. Nice work.
