Your quilt is just gorgeous. Love your comment Jan. Don't know about you, I could get down on the floor like that, but I'd still be sitting there cause I couldn't get back up!

JB... The design is the basic pinwheel one where you take a light & dark HST (half square triangle) and sew them together to make a block. Then sew 4 together so that the lights and darks are alternating. Look close and you will see what I mean. I mainly tried to just use contasting colors when I placed one block next to another and I started off with 4.25 HST blocks. I will post a pic next spring when it is finished. :-)

I am using a large king-size blanket for batting so have to see which LA quilter can handle this large of a size. I don't want anything fancy -just basic something to hold it together. Still have to make the backing yet.

Ohhhh I love it too. Pinwheel's are one of my favorites. What a great way to use up scraps!
