Wonderful job!!! I can hear the drawers opening and hankies being pulled out!!! Love the soft lavender sashing...it pulls everything together! Awesome!!!

Your Hankie quilt is absolutely stunning! It is the prettiest quilt of any hankie quilt I can remember seeing. Hope you connect with your long lost friend.

Default Crazy Quilt from antique hankies

What a beautiful quilt you have created with your hankies. I love the way you have put them together and the purple sashing really sets them off. I love your creation so much. I have seen many many hankies at garage sales and estate sales and have often wondered how they would look made into a quilt and you have shown us how beautiful they can become. You have inspired to look for hankies while out at garage sales/estate sales or antique shops or just asking friends and family for the ones they no longer have need for. Thanks for sharing this with us and for giving me the courage to tackle one.

That is truly awesome! I too, have a collection of hankies that were my mother's and grandmother's, and just cannot bear to get rid of them. I have seen patterns for hanky quilts, but they seemed too difficult. This pattern is perfect! Thank you for sharing...and for the inspiration.
