    The only thing I can tell you is to take the picture of it to someone who can make you a pattern. One of my quilting friends is very good at that and she drew my pattern for me. Since it is paper pieced I no longer have the pattern for the background. Good luck!

    I had a friend draw me a pattern from a picture I had seen. It was paper pieced so when the quilt was finished the pattern was gone. Believe me I tried to find a pattern and couldn't.

    Are both your quilts original? The cross is wonderful and the "dudes" quilt is so warm and lovely. My DH would love that one!

    Yes, get started. It took me a while to get up the nerve to start the cross because I had never done any of the things I had to do. I had never done paper piecing, or applique, or even stitch in the ditch. It doesn't get any easier because you put it off, I promise you that. Good luck! Can't wait to see it.
