There have been a few threads asking about what we keep our projects, or UFO's in. The pizza box idea is wonderful, but I have yet to get up the nerve to walk into the pizza place and ask for their boxes.
I was in Target a few weeks ago and saw this wondeful box and it was less than $3.00. Had to have it. Always been fascinated with storage anyway.
Well, my next project is coming together in my head and I have started to gather the fabrics I want. This plastic box is perfect. and it has built in handles.
(If you have really good eye-sight you can see the template of a Gingerbread house.)

That's a great price for a storage box. The ones at Joanns are about $15, so even with a 50% off coupon they're more than twice what you paid. My SIL says she buys her plastic containers at the sporting goods store. I haven't looked there yet, but will next time I'm in town.

Will have to look for those.. as like you I am afraid to ask a Pizza place for boxes.. Afraid I would be meeting the guys with white coats sooner rather than later
I have a fishing tackle box for some of my sewing machine stuff

A few years back I started buying the plastic muffin/cupcake carriers for my projects. They were about 5 or 6 dollars at K-Mart. They have a dome cover and handles. You can put a lot in them and they stack well. Recently at Sam's Club I bought this wonderful rolling cart that stands about 4 feet tall and has 12 drawers. Each drawer is about 3 inches deep and you can put a different project in each drawer. I use some of my drawers for patterns. These carts were in the restaurant supply area.

I like those and might have to get some. I have a friend that has a pizza place and said that I could have some boxes but I told him that I wouldn't take them without paying him for them.
What department did you find the box in?
