Such a wonderful expression of the concept. Please keep us posted on the progress of this quilt.

I like that it shows humans with the other land animals on day 6, which is Biblically accurate. I, too, can't tell what the image in the center is. I assume it's a representation of the Sabbath?

I also wonder what the middle block is. Also, maybe you did it this way, but I'd make the first day the top block in the middle. Of course, maybe it doesn't look best that way, but that is the way I normally look at things. Maybe I'm different though.

They are really neat, though. Thanks for sharing!

You are doing a wonderful job - the quilt will be a masterpiece when done.

How beautiful your interpretations are of each of the days of creation! (although I, too, can't make out the middle one for Day 7). I love how the diagonal lines separating the light and darkness in Day 1 and the day and night in Day 4 follow the lines of the design, it's so striking. You'd lose that effect if you moved Day 1 to the top.
And I agree it would be nice to have Eve in Day 6 with Adam. Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

Thanks everyone. I'm posting from my cell phone and lost my first attempt to explain the center block - Day 7. This is God resting in a cloud hammock. I think it would be better with fewer rays. They are supposed to represent the glow coming from God's presence.

Ah! That makes sense. Coming up with something to represent God "resting" must be pretty tough!
