DD's 30th Birthday Quilt is Finished!
#1
I can't believe that my "youngest child" (the baby) just turned 30! How could that be possible? Time does fly, doesn't it.
This quilt has been a long time in the making. She wanted something that looked "modern" and I don't know if I achieved that.
The blue is the picture doesn't actually look that blue, it is softer more pastel. The backing is a gorgeous print flannel that matched perfectly!
I wish I could report that I quilted it, too. Credit for that goes to Wendy at Eagle Mountain Quilting. She does beautiful work and is quite reasonable. (www.EagleMountainQuilting.com)
Tomorrow is the day she gets her quilt and I hope she likes it!
