Ladies & Gents I need help. I have all 20 different colors, now I need to know how to put them together. I know everyone says to take pics and make it black & white & you can tell that way, my question is do I do this by color or do I put them all together? Please let me know what you all think.

When I was buying the material for my bargello, my tutor said to buy two light coloured ones and two dark coloured ones then the others came inbetween... I bought 12 in total... greens, apricot, pinks (would you believe) everything matched up well... dark green, apricot and dusky pink... light green, apricot and dusky pink... also when placing them together, check through your camera to see if they come together well...

the reason for the black & white picture (grayscale) is so you can see the values- you want the values to (flow) from light to dark- if something stands out in your picture you can see it and move it-
that will be a beautiful bargello==i love the colors.

I'm no expert, but the 3rd one in your greens looks out of place to me. It seems too dark for where it is placed. Wait a bit and some ladies who are gifted at this will chime in with more opinions.
I think your colors are wonderful and can't wait to see the quilt. Bargellos are so wonderful.
