Dear Jane - more! How fun!

My love of "samplers" is very satisfied with this one and I expect will be for years!

Yes, this one is lots of fun and a challenge. Would you believe mine is finished except for cutting the scallops and binding? I think I'm scared to cut. Used whatever fabrics I liked and had it machine quilted. Keep us posted on your progress.

I think some day when I grow up, I might tackle a Dear Jane. Until then, I'll savor each one that I see. I've bookmarked a bunch. Every now and then, I'll take a peak at them, sigh, then return to reality! Thanks for sharing.

Here are some more that accidentally were deleted! OK, now to work on a king size quilt! What a difference! Sublime to ridiculous and don't know which is which!

Oooooooooooooh... I love this! I love, love, love "Dear Jane" quilts & so admire those who tackle them. These blocks are awesome... fabulous fabric & impeccable workmanship. I cannot wait to see the whole quilt. What is the king-sized one you're working on? I cannot wait to see it, too! Thanks for sharing these little gems with us!

Hmmm - I Googled "Dear Jane Quilts" and came up with several sites - but this one is especially neat (this is the tips and techniques tab) but the site is interesting. http://www.dearjane.com/techniquetips.htm
I also see Electric Quilt as a Dear Jane program for $49 of 250 blocks or something like that.

Hi, Mary! Yes that site is "operated" by Brenda P. who studied the quilt, made up the drawings and published the book. Another good site with more extensive instructions and pictures is www.thatquilt.com.

And if I finish it in my lifetime its going to stay with me!

I am doing the Quilted Diamonds quilt which is like the Dear Jane only the blocks are shaped into diamonds 4" by 6". I have not done any blocks for a long time but it was fun when I did them. Need to get started again.
