Whoa...that is some quilt...all that work and so small. I am blown away by the number of small blocks and all that work! Phew...I am tired just looking at it. Wonderful work and color placement really adds to the overall design. Thanks for showing us your stunning quilt.

Yeah for me, it worked. I got to see it and it is so awesome. I just had to sit and find all the different blocks. What an accomplishment.

That has to be my all time favorite pattern...not sure i would have to patience to attempt one...maybe someday...yours is absolutely beautiful

thanks for all the lovely comments. It took me 13 months to complete this quilt - it is all done by hand and I am hand quilting also - that will probably take another 13 months . I tried to keep track of the time I spend and I have over 700 hours in it so far. Most of the fabrics were selected from my stash except I had to pick up some yellow and orange since I didn't seem to have much on hand. I have since discovered I love orange. I did lay out the colors on a piece of graft paper - just blocked off a 13 X 13 grid and started coloring in, the border triangles were just placed at random.
