yes, it was way over my head. but i am retired. i did all the blocks in 60 days. at about 4 a day. i was sooooo afraid it would take me 2 yrs, like some of the ladies said. i was under the weather, and really couldn't do much, but i could sit and sew, so i did. the software and 'that quilt' web site made it real easy. should have gone to 'that quilt' everytime, before i made any blocks. but didn't. i had never done a curved seam. just barely had done any aplique. like 3 kiddy blankets. did not know what reverse applique was. learned about using elmer's glue on pts. just decided to take it one block at a time.
ohhh, and i got on line and just ordered, ordered, ordered, civil war fabric. didn't spend time shopping and looking for material. easiest ever.....

thx sandpat. couldn't have done it without the tut's you guided me towards.
sat and looked tonite and tweeked some blocks. needed to do that. E-13 will get worked on.
K-1 had a 1/2 sq that i had missed. fixed it. H-2 was put in sideways, fixed it, and then it was upside down!!! will fix that tomor.

And it just dawned on me. a dab of elmer's clue would prob get those 1 inc squares right where i want them each time. right sandpat? yours looked to be near perfect. how did you do that?
i pinned, pinned, and then basted, before i sewed,.... so far.
