Default Denim wholecloth jacket

I posted a wholecloth pink flamingo jacket. I loved the quilting design but not the fullness of the armholes in the back. I found my Judy Mathison Quilt as you go Log Cabin quilt pattern from way back in 1985. I couldn't believe I walked right to it. The quilt design is diamonds in a circle filled with feathers and circles of feathers around the diamonds ending in archs filled with feathers and then parallel lines. It looks complex but you start with those simple shapes.

I like the jacket. It fits well and fits into my activities in my life. I do have to tack down the collar inside yet but otherwise it is totally done. Do you think the lining is bright enough. It is just for fun. It doesn't show while wearing the jacket. The jacket is light weight denim.

This is amazing! What beautiful work. STUNNING.

Carolyn must have posted at the same time I did. Guess we both think the same thing.

That is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Would think you could become very rich if you could provide even a half dozen to an expensive, trendy boutique. People would just eat these gorgeous creations right up. The dimension your quilting gives to this garment is nothing short of spectacular

I have always wanted to make another jacket. I made one about 6 years ago that was just a sweat shirt with Seminole Strips around near the bottom and some nice binding. I never thought of a whole cloth jacket. I just might try that. I love your quilting.
