Anyone ever hear of a Menger Sponge? It's a mathematical "cube" created by some mathematical genius or something. Anyway, my daughter (the computer geek) asked me to make a quilt designed after a menger sponge. It will look 3-D when I'm finished. Here's my design so far!

Cool design but I am clueless about a Menger Sponge (amazing what you can learn on this board!).

Looks pretty crafty. I like it, and I don't like math. (Oh, pretend I don't know that it has anything to do with math . . . it's a great quilt design.)

Either you love your daughter an awful lot (and spoil her to boot) or you're insane. Either way, I can't wait to see the finished quilt. My math teaching sister had better not see it though....I'm not insane enough (yet) and while I love her, my answer would still be NOPE, uhn-un, and get real girl!
