I love the non-traditional opening and your color choices are wonderful! What a fabulous gift!

That is gorgeous! Definitely my kind of tree skirt - I love strip piecing. What's the diameter of the hole in the center? We have a really large tree stand, since we typically get a 12' or taller tree. Thanks.

The opening is 7" but you can make it whatever size you want. We, too have a 12" tree. I made my skirt for a smaller tree and only used 3 light and 3 dark colors. The skirt that fits my tree has 4 lights and 4 darks. It fits very nicely and I made the opening in mine as big as a dinner plate.

Beautiful, who could want more? I, too, would like a pattern, if you will share the name and where to purchase. Thanks!

I agree, it is absolutely beautiful and I too would like to know the pattern name. Would you share this with us all.

Also you did a wonderful job all around. Your friend will really like this under her tree.
