Default Diamonds are Forever quilt class

I attended at class offered by Michael Young from Baton Rouge. The name of the pattern is Diamonds are Forever. He has a easy way to make Y- seams. The Y-seams have to be made when sewing the sashing around each diamond.
I had all the pieces cut and the sashing on each diamon before I went to the class. But I learned new techniques to putting the pieces together. I came home and finished it the next day. Now to quilt it. The border is pine tree and pine cone fabric. The colors are much deeper than the photo shows.

Those dreaded Y seams...I have tried to master them. Utube my brains out watching dozens do it with ease and you mention an easy method? I wish you could post a tutorial, but in the meantime KUDOS on the quilt...GREAT job and an eyecatching combination of colors and prints.

Is Michael Young's pattern for sale? Without having to attend a class somewhere, that is? I'd love to make this beauty but won't attempt it without instruction for those dreaded Y seams .
