Your quilt is gorgeous!!! I'm like you, I love the backing! It is always a great feeling to try something different or solve a problem and have it come out great. A while back I took in a cutomer quilt that had busy prints on front and the customer wanted custom quilting, knowing I could not see my quilting stitches on the front for the custom qulting I loaded the quilt top side up and did a lot of SID around all the blocks. I then removed the quilt from the frame, reloaded it bottom side up and did some intense quilting. The customer was very pleased and I saved myself a lot of frustration.

It's a GREAT idea. Your quilt will be beautiful on BOTH sides. I just finished an ispy quilt which I backed in a baby animal panel. I quilted to the panel and it turned out great!

I am totally in love with your quilt, front and back. I love that you did the log cabin around your HSTs, and I love the backing fabric. The fabrics match so well, and it's a peaceful lovely quilt. Your idea of quilting the roses is wonderful and looks so lovely on both sides. Oh, did I say I love your quilt. Smilessssss and hugssssssss, I LOVEEEEEE it!!!
