I saw a tree done in the round in metal. It had individual metal leaves which I ignored and just kept the idea of a tree in the round and putting the trunk slightly to the side. Then I just did my thing of playing. I have done many landscape quilts so I already knew to use fabrics with 3 shades in them. Because of the quilting, I could use fabrics with just two knowing my quilting thread would be the third.

I really like those. You could use the fusible circles and ovals from placemats for these. thanks for sharing
