I didn't know you could plug in a dimmer switch--I thought they were all hardwired into the wall.

U can "hardwire" anything with a plug..

Great idea...

I, luckily, have a control on my Brother machine that will regulate it.. push button on... push puttton off ( I also have an optional foot... but honestly I"m so spoiled now to the button)
