This was my first quilt ever. I thought about putting it on my etsy site. Did you guys keep your first quilt?

If you are attached, hang onto it, if not, let it go! I have my first, gave away #2, I really don't think anyone would want #1.

yes, I did. It is a crib size, and I have it hanging on my wall. Just can not bring myself to part with it. I pieced and machine quilted and actually did a pretty fair binding on it. It it is in batiks.

Keep it, otherwise you might regret it two or three years down the road

I lost my 'first' quilt sometime not too long after I made it; I think it went the same way as various blankets, towels and sheets... my ex never seemed to have a drop cloth on the job when he needed it...
I did just give away my first hand quilted, sampler that I made around 1997 when I got serious about quilting... you know it didn't bother me to give up the quilt it's self, as I don't care for those colors any longer, but I miss all the beautiful handwork on it.

I gave the first quilt I ever made to our oldest son, and he still has it. I think that was back in 1993 or somewhere around that time.

I also gave my first quilt to my oldest son, who still has it and uses it. As a matter of fact, I've never kept any of my quilts....yet.
