I didn't keep one until about the 20th one. And it was a gift for my dh. My first was a baby quilt for a friend at work. I did take a picture of it. I didn't get pictures of the last few. My camera has bitten the dust, but the quilts needed to go to their new homes.

I have my first quilt. Actually I should say my dog has my first quilt. It was made with 50-50 poly/cotton. Over the years the cotton fabric disintegrated.

I vote for you keeping your first quilt.

Beautiful Quilt! I kept my first one so I can compare it to the newer ones and see how much I have improved. :)

Yup, still do. Talked about giving it away a couple times, not that it was that wonderful, but my sweetie said, O No, that was your first quilt, don't give it away. Funny thing is he wants to keep every quilt I make. Says things like o not that one it was your first try at applique, or not that one we had such fun on that vacation when you found that pattern. He's my biggest fan, can you tell?

Ohhh keep it. I still have mine. Well not really my mom has it on her bed. So I get to see it once in awhile. If you get rid of it you'll wish you had it on down the road. Its very cute.
