Default Does anyone know this pattern?

Does anyone know this pattern? A friend has this pillow, but I thought it would be a lovely quilt. I can't figure out exactly how it is made. I would like to see a pattern and instructions for it.

I dont know the name, but it looks easy to draft. It would require a partial seam on the first trangle that is added to the center...

It's called Star of the Orient designed by Judy Martin. Her book is called Scrap Quilts.

Oh my! I saved an old book from my Aunt that had that star pattern in it. I am sure it is the same star because I thought it was so pretty. I'll have to really dig to find it. For some reason I think it was maybe called a rainbow star but I am not sure.
