That was what I was wondering too. I've been thinking of getting another Dobie, but due to my age, have hesitated to do so.

So sad, that older folks can't have their pets with them. They've been almost children and I can imagine how she feels to have to dump a pet you've loved.

At 93, people shouldn't have to give up their pets that comfort them and makes them want to stay alive. I think this is such a black mark on America -we really need to change the way we treat our elders compared to most other countries.
