How many different fabrics would you buy from this group?

Would you buy the large dogwood print in more than one colorway?
I would probably buy a layer cake and a jelly roll.

Oh, goodness. Trying to think like a buyer on this one is difficult. I'm at a disadvantage, not knowing your target market. However, I'm keeping in mind that you do ship into my area. After printing the line and laying them out on the floor, then stepping back, I could focus better, and all manner of block patterns started popping into my head.

The half assortment doesn't capture the entire essence. The porcelain looks lost until paired with any of the other colors, then it really blooms. Pinks and greens have always been good combinations, and blue is a workhorse color in this area. My melt down was between the two pinks. I like the stronger, but then I was never a soft girlie type for flowers. Many of my friends go for the softer look. I even went to the studio and brought down some Dogwood Bliss and plopped it down in the middle of the Moda collection. (Blank Quilting 2008 - has black background, the blossoms are natural colored with pinkie/peach highlights, which are also picked up in the multi greens of the leaves.) It was compatible with all of the Moda. This fabric line screams baby blankets for boys and girls, teen and new family quilts, table toppers and quilted runners, curtains and casserole covers, home decor and even worked into a pet wardrobe. I can envision fashion design . . .

Finally, instead of trying to pick as a buyer, I made a personnel choice. I cut the soft pink, Blossom. I just couldn't cut any more. I think the designer should get an award for this line. I don't envy you in this decision. The pics, now that I have them printed, are going on the wall. By the time the fabrics hit the store here, I may know exactly what I want and how much to get. Better yet, I'll take them to guild tomorrow and see if the local buyers have made their decisions yet. Good Luck!!

This preview is SO fresh that the collection isn't even on Moda's site yet for shops to place their orders yet. This collection is supposed to be shipping in July.

I would love to know what prints you all like best... so please take a peek!
Are you kidding??? How can anyone choose??? They are all too beautiful. Together they are breath taking.

these are right up my alley! I would start with the large print, white background and mix in the smaller petal print with the green leafy tonals. That's what would go in my cart.

Love, love, love them all!!!!!!!! I just have to have some of these prints! Wish they were coming out earlier though, by the time we can get them and make something it could be fall.
Well, I'm speaking about my slow self here. lol Of course, then it would be nice having something so springy to work on all next winter too.
