...my wonderful Granddaughter! She and her Mom came to visit from Ohio for about 10 days (we just took them to the airport this morning to go home). It was a wonderful visit and about 6 days into the visit she finally wanted to go to my sewing room.

I had an idea of an easy doll quilt to make, so had been saving small scraps for about a month or so. Well, she decided after exploring that we should make a quilt for 'Angelina', her 18" doll she brought with her. So I cut two pieces of white material for the front and the back, and the batting to go in between. Then I told her to dig into my scrap bucket and see what she wanted on the quilt.

So she picked out the pieces, told me where to sew them, and pressed the reverse lever when asked to, and the cut thread button when told to cut. As we were working along -- start to finish took about 1.5 hours -- she said, "Grandma - this is the best teamwork ever!"

Mia with her new Dall Quilt - made with TEAMWORK!

She and Angelina think it is great

What a precious little girl! Her quilt is very pretty, I know she'll enjoy it (especially since she helped make it).
