Good idea about them as samples !!! And market them as Dolly quilts. I have seen the small ones at shows. I think the first size is what I have seen.. Barbie size..

Great marketing !! Good for you !

Thanks Sally,
I am thinking about $4.50 for the small ones and $5.50 for the larger. I am pretty sure we could not get much more than that. Even though they are worth more, considering the time and material, but the folks around here do not have an abundance of money. I made a lovely lap quilt last year. The time I spent on the thing, it was worth about $350.00. I put a price of $90.00 and it did not sell. The bazaar ladies marked it down to $60.00 and it still did not sell. That hurt. So this year I am going with the little ones.

What fun!! Fun for you to make, for the little person who gets to cover his/her doll, and for the doll. :D

I understand that. I have been making quilts for church auction. last year 2- queens, they could bearly draw out $200 each.
did Hole in Barn door and jewel Box. Those have lots of work.
I know how you feel. I am going to make rag bag purses and small wall hangings. See how that goes. Our church does not have $$$ either

Our quilts are auctioned at the church fall festival. A few times they have gone for 600 but that is when out of town people are there. If it is local lucky to get 200.

Anne - they are too cute! Hope you DO get some business out of them for yourself! You do such lovely work. By the by - think you should stick to machine quilting - 7 hours versus 10 minutes ???? hmm let me think this over???? LOL
