Oh my golly. Your quilts are awesome. You may have posted it before but what pattern is that? I like it. You have a great fabric eye. :-D

The block is actually turned at an angle ... tip your head sideways and study it - - the second picture shows the situation better than the first one does.
No, I don't know the name of the pattern, but if you take off the tan/floral corners and look at the original square, you will be able to understand how Don got the pattern he got.
That is the amazing thing about putting a block on point ... takes a very straight forward block and makes it quite exotic, sometimes ... in this case, it totally is awesome <wave>
