I am a new quilter - started with an auction project for kids school - then made a baby quilt for a co worker - now I am hooked! I was working on a quilt for an auction for a football team but had a real problem getting it finished. I am wondering - does anybody else have this problem? :? I am looking forward to posting more and learning more. Let me know if you have any solutions to my quilting problem - see picture.

Welcome to the board from Southern Calfornia!!!
I am more into the piecing of the tops than I am into the quilting myself!

I am not sure "what" the problem is..... the cat? Or that you are making things for others? Treat yourself... make something special for YOU!

And a big welcome to the board. You will have a GREAT time here, and learn so much.

I'm assuming you mean the cat, and yes I do!!! Although my problem is twice as big as yours, because I have 2 that want to do that!!! Oh, and one of them really likes the computer monitor, too.

You have an awfully cute problem there! So fluffy and cuddly! I wish my problem was that cute! In my opinion, you don't need a solution...you need a lap!

I didn't see it as a problem, until one of my kitties (I have 3) decided he wanted to play with the needle while I was sewing. It scared me that she was eventually going to catch it, so I decided to lock them out of my sewing room. They now sit outside th door and whine that I dont' let them in, but I couldn't stand it if they got hurt. sniff.

Sounds like you have your first UFO. (Unfinished object) I have several. I'll start a project and decide it isn't looking like I thought or I get sidetracked with a "need it now" project. So if you ask everyone how many UFOs they have, one will seem like nothing!
